“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4 LIFE’S JOURNEY On Jan. 10, 1994 in Galveston, Texas, a handsome baby boy was born to the parents of Robert Anthony (Highway Bert) Johnican and Yulonda (Boo) Michelle George. They named him Da’Marcus Trinell George. Da’Marcus received his formal education from Dickinson ISD graduating with the Class of 2013. He was employed by the City of Houston with “National Works Company.” Da’Marcus was raised in a loving and Christian home and was taught at an early age to pray continuously and to always give honor, glory and praise to God. He was a, caring, devoted and loving son and father. Da’Marcus was very charismatic and funny. He loved to make people laugh and to dance especially to the sounds of 2Pac Shakur. Although he loved his “hair waves” Da’Marcus got a bald haircut as he wanted a bald look just like his daddy! He loved reading his bible daily and taking walks while meditating and communing with his Lord. Da’Marcus also loved history programs and watching documentaries about animals. No matter what trials and tribulations he faced throughout his life, he remained optimistic and humble never losing his faith. He was always ready to help others in God. On June 1, 2023, Da’Marcus Trinell George departed his earthly life for his heavenly home to be with the Lord forever. He is preceded in death by grandfathers, Elijah Hagler, Jr, and Robert Louis Ellis. Left to cherish his legacy and beautiful memories are: his parents, Robert Anthony “Highway Bert” Johnican of Dickinson, Yulonda Michelle “B00” Griffin and stepdad, Mr. Gregory Griffin of Baytown; his children, Lauren George and Jeremiah Da’Marcus George; his brothers, Jarrod Dontae’ George of Dickinson, Keevin Tyrez George of USN Virginia Beach, Ja’Tyrus Dayvon George of League City, Robert DeAnthony Johnican, Bauwana Joe Donahue both of Dickinson, and Jailun DeAndre Johnican of Bay City; great grandmother, Minnie George of Texas City; grandparents, Johnny B. Williams of Texas City, and Rev. James and Brenda Jenkins of Dickinson; godgrandparents, Marcus and Brenda Sanders of Texas City; uncles, Tyrus George of Dickinson, Elijah Hagler III of League City, Antonio (Nell) Williams and Anthony Williams both of Houston; aunts, Torrie Williams, Dedra Crawford, Gwendolyn Hagler Hayes, Samone Williams all of Dickinson, Valinda Williams, Elaine Williams, Annie (San) Davis all of Houston, Shanda Crooms of Clear Lake City, Rhonda Jenkins (Tony) Hall of Dickinson and Teresa Ellis of Tulsa, Ok; first cousin and best friend, Terinie Warner; godmother, Carol J. Matthews of Dickinson; god-sisters, Celeste Smith, Kyra Lymuel and Davionne Rice; godbrothers, Brad Matthews and Roderick Matthews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

January 10, 1994 - June 1, 2023
