On March 2, 1999 at 3:06 am, the most beautiful soul was brought into the world by Detriek Lamont Little Sr. and Andre Jones Little. At an early age, Detriek began his walk with Christ at Saint Agnes Baptist Church and accepted Yahusha into his life as his Lord and Savior at Abundant Life Christian Center where he was later baptized at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. While a member of Mt. Carmel, he served the Lord as a Jr. Deacon and an active member of the media team and choir. Detriek’s inquisitive passion for learning developed at an early age beginning with his love for paleontology, science and history. He began his quest for knowledge through his love of reading books and watching the animal planet on channel 42. His educational journey began at Mainland Preparatory Academy in LaMarque, Texas where his thirst for knowledge was able to blossom and he officially made his mark as the smartest one in the family. In 2017, Detriek became a proud graduate of Clear Springs High School in League City, Texas and later pursued higher education as a cougar at the University of Houston. Although he absolutely preferred reading books and playing video games, he wasn’t afraid to lock in and pancake someone on the field as an Offensive Lineman. Detriek enjoyed spending his time relaxing by the water, reading new books, listening to his favorite band, Sabaton, but most importantly, spending time with his family. One of his greatest passions was his love for technology and coding where he even built his very own computer from the ground up. On May 14, 2025, Detriek accepted his heavenly call and entered eternal rest in peace. Left to cherish beautiful memories: his father, Detriek Little Sr. and his mother, Andre Little along with his two sisters, Kenya Hester and Zairia Little and brothers, Jamal Hester and Justice Sheppard. He is loved beyond measure by his grandparents, Alma Hobbs Little (Grammi), Ora Little (G-Mama), Lewis Little Sr. (Papa) and Ronald Allen (Papa Ron); his nieces and nephews, Jaye, Kadelynn (Goddaughter), Jaleeah, Justice and Jaiden; uncles: Lewis “Deannie” Little II, Cedric Little, his godfather, Thomas Jones Jr. (Ramona); uncles, Thomas Green (Alicia), Steven Little II (Krysle), Mark Milton Sr. (Yolunda), Adrian Ash, Brandon Ash, Gerald Little II (Dominique), Chris Caldwell, Don Reginald, Paul Jackson; aunts, Ida Levine, Margery Davis, Sybil Winters Little, Godmother, Tomesha Green; loving cousins, Onix, Zyon, Jennifer, Micole, 3J, L’Jean, D’Lisa, Naomi, Sarah, TJ, Jenifer, Nicholas, Ollie Jr, Draper, Jatoya, Edward Jr, Breyonna, Ashley, Mark Jr, Amani, Jadon, Jamall, Tia and Tailey and many more family members. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Jones Sr. and grandmother, Sheryl Allen and welcomed into the kingdom of Yahuah where he is now at rest.
