Justin Julian Antoine Etienne was born May 11, 1987, in Galveston, Texas. Justin was baptized at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Galveston later moving to Holy Rosary Catholic Church where he was a member of the Jr. Knights of Peter Claver, Holy Rosary Drill Team, Children’s Choir, Nursing Ministry and Knights of Peter Claver Council #20. He attended Galveston Catholic Schools until his family moved to La Marque. He played with the TIFI La Marque Tigers Little League Football Team, and Bobby Beach Baseball League where he excelled. Justin attended La Marque Public schools where he graduated with the Class of 2005. He played basketball and football and was a proud member of the award winning LaMarque Middle School and LaMarque High School Bands. Justin was an outgoing fun-loving individual known for making others laugh. He loved being around his family, friends and his brothers. He loved to dance and always could be seen dancing every opportunity he had. Justin was an extremely intelligent individual that loved science, and history and often would capture others with the theories of evolution. One of his favorite pets was his beloved Iguana, Lacy. Justin Julian Antoine Etienne transitioned to his eternal resting place on Friday, November 17, 2023. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Sybia Harris, James Harris, Michael James and Ed Bedford. Justin leaves to cherish his loving memories to his mother and father: Michael and Jocelyn Gilmore of Dickinson, TX; father: Adrian Harris; brothers: Michael and Cameron Gilmore; grandparents: Lumas and Rose Etienne, Winifred Gilmore; aunts; Cleo Etienne, Crystal Harris, Cheryl Harris Napuli (Tommy), Pascha Rougeau, Katina Gilmore, Monica James and Nicole Charles-Ward; uncles: James Harris (Julie) and Daryl Harris, Danny Gilmore (Arlisa), Corey Norris, and Michael James; special brother-cousins: Dominic Etienne, Jordan Etienne, Stephan Etienne and Quinton Fields; cousins: Jovan Francis, Jamese, JeanRi’ and Janiya Harris, Jadon Elston, Desmond Pouncy, Antoinette Richardson, Alexis Richardson-Forrest, Gabriel Ross, Daryl Harris Jr., Erin Ward, Jalen West, Cali Cooper, Triniti and Tori Jackson; great-grandmother: Geneva Hurst; great-aunts; Evelyn Lewis, Marie Smith, Orelia Hayward, Rachel Chatfield, Stella Bryant and Tempie Thompson; great-uncles; Eugene Lewis Jr., John Rougeau, and Sonny James Sr.; and a host of other family members and friends.
