“Blessed all the pure in heart, for they shall see God!” St Matthews 5;8 A Life Well Lived…. Sharon Davis was born on September 21, 1952 to Willie Mae Love Davis and Leroy Davis, Sr. This union was blessed to produce 13 wonderful children. The family moved to Dickinson, Texas in 1957. Sharon was baptized at St. James AME Church in Dickinson at an early age and was a devoted member. She faithfully sang in the choir until she moved her membership to Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadershop of Pastor Lewis D. Little, Sr. She attended the public schools of Dickinson, Texas attending, Paul Lawrence Dunbar School and Dickinson High School - Class of 1971. Sharon met and married Curtis Simon, Sr. and to this union, two beautiful children Curtis, Jr. and Krisinder, were born. Sharon was a homemaker and loved her family unconditionally. Even through her illness, Sharon always tried to help others in need. On December 27, 2022 after battling her illnesses, Sharon departed this life to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Love Davis; father, Leroy Davis, Sr.; five brothers, Leroy Davis, Jr, Benjamin Davis, Willie C. Davis, Marvis Davis and Maurice Davis. Four sisters, Mary Brown, Alfred Mae Davis, Leaola Jones and Florence Davis; nephews, Edward Franklin, Raymond Rogers, Craig Davis, Reginald Davis, Harold Davis, Wilbert Braggs, Jessie Davis; niece, Sheila Davis; great niece, Kimberly Davis; two brothers-in-law. Troy Harris and Bobby Logan; and great-nephew, Brian Taylor. Cherished memories will forever linger in the hearts of our beloved family: son, Curtis Simon, Jr. (Jennifer Davis) of Mooresberg, Tennessee; daughter, Krisinder Simon Davis (Lee Davis) of Texas City; three sisters, Viola Logan of Dickinson, Rose Harris of Friendswood and Shirley Jefferson (Bobby) of Houston; her beloved grandchildren, Monique, DeShawn, Tenisha, Alexis, Jarvis, Chalaya, Luna, Kurtis, Jocelyn; 17 great-grandchildren, god-sons, Michael Davis, Jarmaine Neely, Justin Davis, King Sereal; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and close friends, some we knew and some we didn't.
