“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalm 23:6 A Life Well Lived On July 18, 1954 in Galveston, Texas, the union of Seth Little and Margaret Hagler Little was blessed with a handsome baby boy whom they named Steven Craig Little. Steven was educated in the public schools of Dickinson, Texas and was a graduate of Dickinson High School where he was the starting Quarterback for the football team. After graduation, he attended Texas Southern University in Houston. At an early age, he was baptized at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Steven was a hard worker and provided for his family. He enjoyed a long and prosperous career as an Operator at Amoco Oil in Texas City. November 18, 1993 was a special day in his life, he united in marriage to Carolyn Ridley Little and this union of love has been blessed for 30 wonderful years. In his leisure time, Steven loved spending time with his family and enjoyed sports. He played Softball and was a huge fan of the Dickinson Gators and especially his FAVORITE team, The Dallas Cowboys. One of his greatest joys was supporting his grandkids. Steven was known as the “Domino Champion of Dickinson”. In later years, he rededicated his life to Christ and rejoined the Mount Carmel Church Family where he remained a member until his passing. Even though his physical body is gone from us, his spirit, laughter, love and strength will continue to live on in our hearts. On the morning of Friday, March 22, 2024, Steven departed this earthly life to be with the Lord in Webster, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Seth Little, Sr., his mother, Margaret Little; sister, Jacquelyn Kay Little and brother, Orlando “Lannie” Little. Left to cherish memories of his life are his devoted wife, Carolyn Little; children, Chris Caldwell (Crystal), Steven C. Little, II and wife Krystle, and Monique Little; grandchildren, Tiara. Jerome, Jayson, Joseph, Troy “T”, Steven, III and Kalen; his siblings Rev. Louis D. Little, Sr. (Ora), Seth “Fatman” Little, Jr. (Rita), Gerald Little (Alisha), Margery “Candy” Davis (Isaac, Jr.) and Donnie Little; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
